NBA Picks and Predictions: Golden State Warriors at Minnesota Timberwolves

I’d like to point out that even though Las Vegas is holding this line closed, there is a value to the Z-Code community. Due to a recent upgrade, experts and community members are able to discuss the game below the computer algorithm information. This way, when the line is posted, the community is educated and a complete disclosure of thoughts becomes available.

Here are my thoughts, pending a line, as posted in the forum:

“These are my two favorite middle-of-the-pack teams this year. I love the combination of Steph Curry and David Lee for the Warriors and think they have the talent to surprise people every night. The T’Wolves are battling a RIDICULOUS amount of injuries, but they’re scrappy and continue to find ways to win. When Andrew Bogut returns to the Warriors, they’ll be very dynamic and versatile with one of the better centers in the game. When Roy (if he can be healthy), Barea, Love, Rubio, and Pekovic are all in the lineup for Minny… they’ll be sneaky good and very deep!

With that said, there is likely going to be value against the Warriors once all those “questionable” players (BY THE WAY THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE UPGRADE TO INJURY INFO, MIKE and COMPANY) are sorted out. If the T’Wolves are again going into this game with literally half a roster, I like the Warriors even on the road. I’m not sure what the spread will be, but if it’s reasonable I think that gives the Warriors a ton of value… 

if it’s 6.5 or more I don’t really feel all that comfortable. There’s something about this MInnesota team that scares me, even with half a roster. They’re home, they’re gritty, and I love to watch them find ways to win. A close spread favors GSW, but Minny is dangerous.”

In the end, I think Golden State steals this one on the road. Moneyline looks good, and a reasonable spread should be profitable here.
