NFL Picks and Predictions – Thursday Night Football: Bills Dolphins

NFL Featured Game – Thursday 11/15 – Dolphins at Bills

Ryan Tannehill has fallen apart lately and the Dolphins are getting desperate. There was a time a few weeks ago where I genuinely thought the Dolphins had a chance. With a rookie qb in cold weather for the first time, I think the Bills passing defense will have a good showing. The question – can they stop the run?

THeir awful run defense is

a legitimate cause for concern. Without it, I’d be high confidence and all over the Bills. If Miami can run the ball efficiently, Buffalo should be in for a battle. Still, with Tannehill’s recent struggles and a road game in Buffalo, I think the Bills defense has a good chance to control the game.

Buffalo’s offense matches up well with the Dolphins. Miami has a top defense, but they have been ineffective lately. I think Buffalo will score some points on Thursday night.

Additionally, THursday Night Football always favors the home team. A short week of preparation tends to help the team in a familiar environment. I’m on the Bills here.

Z-Code notes that public money has a fairly even distribution as the line movement has made the Bills an even heavier favorite. It’s worth watching how sharp money bets this game closer to its start, but so far there is no indication to stay away from this one.

The oscillator shows both teams in free fall, while the Bills are in “dead” status and the Dolphins are down.

This game might come to straight analysis and an educated hunch. Z-Code gives a decent signal for the Dolphins, but I tend to disagree. As such, I formally suggest avoiding this game. Since I can’t bring myself to do that with only one game going, I’m on Buffalo.

Bills 27 – Dolphins 16
