I’m not a big fan of Toronto, they play inconsistent hockey, losing 0-2 to Arizona (?!) but still have a strong offense and they are back home after a long trip that ended with 2 poor losses.
Capitals on the other hand are stuck in the W-L-W-L-W-L pattern, one of the strongest patterns in hockey (KISS style). I don’t know why it works, but for some reason specific teams just can’t get things right to win 2 in a row, after each win they come out flat and lazy.
Captials had a very easy schedule, all last games except a surprising win againt the Sharks were against lowly teams like Kings and Ducks and Capitals played really poorly, going 3-3. I dont see them competing against win-hungry maple leafs that just came home. With some early line support I’m with @Greek on this one!
