MLB All-Star Game: AL Dominance to Continue

MLB All-Star Game

With the euro cup over and the MLB on break for all star week, tonight’s all star game is the biggest sports betting event on offer until the MLB’s regular season resumes this weekend. The game is an exhibition, and therefore Z-code does not recommend any sort of bankroll-busting plays on this game. However, the rules change in 2002 giving world series home field advantage to the winning side creates more incentive for these players to play like they mean it than we see in any of the other three all star exhibitions in major US sports. Therefore, its worth at least a small play if not just for the fun of it.

With that in mind, we at Z-code are taking the American League. Here’s why: they’re coming in as a slight underdog (even money line) despite showing of sheer dominance over the NL in the last 20 years (15-4-1) and the fact that they have Chris Sale on the mound. I’ve always said that when you can get Sale at less than -175 you need to take him. Here the situation is slightly different, but in a coin flip of a game were going to rely on one of our favorite pitchers in baseball to get the job done. He’s had a rough last few games but with the pressure off should perform in a much more relaxed and efficient manner.
As said earlier, this game is an exhibition and literally anything can happen. We recommend no more than a one unit bet.
Score prediction: AL 9 NL 4
