NHL Picks: Ottawa Senators at Calgary Flames
Not a lot to choose from today, but here’s what I have for you guys tonight… This is a tremendously dangerous game, but it may also have the most value on the board as the computer indicates. The facts are these:
1. Senators have lost three of four and look sloppy out of the break
2. The Flames are a much better team at home and their recent slump has been on the road
3. The Senators have more talent, but are not achieving this season. Anderson is a liability.
4. The Flames are a terrible team overall.
So… underachieving talent Vs home ice mediocrity of a bad team… the line lends to value on the Senators, but this might be a no bet if you run a conservative system. I’m on the Senators in real life, but my forum will not be venturing a wager here.
