NFL Playoffs Picks: Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals
The Green Bay Packers delivered a convincing win for us last week and we nearly predicted the score exactly correct. During our perfect first round of the NFL Playoffs, we got what we expected from Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers played well, carrying a mediocre team to victory. Here, they just don’t have enough to take out the Arizona Cardinals. We’re on the Arizona Cardinals in a teaser or ML parlay. We’re also on the New England Patriots to beat the Kansas City Chiefs at home.
The Arizona Cardinals have an incredible defense. The pass rush will get after this broken offensive line, the secondary will mitigate the Aaron Rodgers effect, and the Cardinals offense is the most balanced in the NFL. I don’t think the last meeting between these two teams was anything extraordinary. The Arizona Cardinals are better than the Green Bay Packers and they also match up very well with the holes of the Packers roster.
I certainly cannot bet against Aaron Rodgers with a tremendous amount of confidence all that often. He has an ability to make a mediocre team missing it’s top receiving weapon a viable threat to an otherwise superior team. The Green Bay Packers have playoff experience. This is a little dangerous.
Still, on the road and tired from last week while the Cardinals sat in wait, the Green Bay Packers have their work cut out for them. With momentum, home field, a reasonable spread for a parlay, and the vastly superior team, I think the Cardinals take this one. The computer agrees, giving Arizona a 71% chance for victory.
