NFL Picks (Christmas Eve): San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders
We must have been really bad this year. In addition to a lump of coal under the tree, we get this steaming turd of a Thursday Night Football game between the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders as they battle for who gets to flee to Los Angeles sooner.
Seriously, Santa, what did we do to deserve this? As the in-laws pour in, we all gather around the fire to watch Phillip Rivers pad stats in another uneventful San Diego Chargers season against an Oakland Raiders team that continues to stumble every year.
Public money suggests that the play tonight is the San Diego Chargers +6. Personally, I’m going to just get so drunk that I won’t be bothered by a national television game this boring. The NFL had a chance to really step up and deliver something worthwhile to the holiday parties tonight.
Pass the eggnog.
