NFL Predictions – AFC East
After a nice win to open the year with a Broncos blowout, let’s get back to our predictions. The AFC East looks pretty straightforward, and I’m pretty excited about another year where the Jets are terrible!
New England Patriots (11-5): The division is soft, and that should mask a decade of mediocrity on defense. Brady lost his go-to guy, but the Pats look good enough to dominate the rest of this nonsense division.
Buffalo Bills (8-8): CJ Spiller has emerged as a legitimate threat, but they parted ways with the man they thought would be a franchise quarterback and this team is hurting. Not much of a defense, not much consistency on offense, but some talent… maybe.
Miami Dolphins (7-9): Mike Wallace will only be as good as his young, inexperienced, unexciting quarterback will make him. I don’t think the Dolphins will be all that impressive this year.
New York Jets (4-12): Even if Geno Smith is a rookie phenom, which he won’t be, the Jets stink. Old, terrible defense, no running game, no line, no weapons… this is a bad team in a bad division, but they’re the worst of the pack.
