For me, the only reason I’ll be watching this game is because Peyton Manning is two touchdowns shy of an NFL record. Additionally, that probably gives him an even bigger stage to perform on and he rarely lets us down on his home field.

That being said, while I don’t think the 49ers are all that good (and highly dysfunctional, San Francisco is playing excellent football lately. To think they can’t keep it within a touchdown is strange. +7 with the hook looks like  ...

MLB World Series Prediction: Kansas City Royals Vs San Francisco Giants – Playoffs Picks

The Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants have had an impressive run. The Royals swept their way through the playoffs and the Giants found a way to win a series of tight games with the Cardinals and sneak in. Well, I got this one wrong. I thought burning your ace in the first round play-in game would render both of these rotations crippled. I thought neither Wild Card team had the depth to break through.

I look at this game both with my heart and my wallet. I want to see the Kansas City Royals win it all. I believe in small market baseball and this team is as hot as any team in playoff history. Further, the Giants did them a favor. Walking off means the series doesn’t extend and there will be no cooling off period for KC.
