NHL Playoffs Picks: LA Kings at San Jose Sharks
I think the LA Kings are the better team here, and I think that they have enough defense and goaltending to turn this series around on the road. The LA Kings lost two tough games at home, and as the series shifts to San Jose, the desperation will be high. They should be able to finally get things going.
The San Jose Sharks have surprised me in the beginning of this series. They look sharp and have the ability to score clutch goals and muscle out wins. The defensive system of the LA Kings hasn’t seemed to slow down the San Jose Sharks very much. It seems that this could finally be the year the Sharks exorcise their demons.
Still, I think the Kings know how to win. I don’t like this team and I’m not particularly blown away by either of these rosters. Mostly, I just expect Jonathan Quick to figure things out. On the road, with the season on the line, the Kings will be in desperation mode. I think that’s enough.
The computer leans to the Sharks at home, but I think the Kings keep this series interesting. It should be a good game. I just think with this level of familiarity and playoff experience, the Kings are due for a bounce back win.
