NFL Picks: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers, NFC Central Title Game
This is the time of year where Aaron Rodgers’ eyes get big and he starts picking apart defenses. While Eddie Lacy isn’t exactly running the ball effectively, the Packers are an impressive bunch with some semblance of balance on offense. That said, Detroit’s defense is gritty (read cheap), rushes the passer, and can shut down even the best offenses in the league. This should be a good one.
I think Lambeau will likely be a decisive advantage here. It’s going to be cold, the Lions don’t run the ball well, and the Packers have home field advantage. 7.5 is a lot in a game with such familiarity, but I think Green Bay will take this one.
The computer agrees, giving a 75% chance of a money line victory. We’re on the teaser here, as well as a money line play with limited value. I just don’t see Green Bay losing at home to the Lions for the first time since 1991.
