NFL Picks: Monday Night Football – Denver Broncos (-3) at Cincinnati Bengals
We got in early and saved ourselves half a point here, but got in early on the Steelers and cost ourselves a half point. Everything balanced out and, either way, my system in the VIP Picks forum is 1-0 coming into Monday Night, and we can’t lose money but we can almost double up here.
The Bengals have a lot to play for, but they’re a volatile bunch. I don’t trust them, and inconsistencies at quarterback and sloppy play has made them a borderline playoff team instead of the runaway divisional champion we thought they could be.
The Denver Broncos are in line for a shot at a top seed and a bye week if they can run the table. They’re the most consistent team in the NFL in my opinion, and they’ve found a running game. I think they’ve got an edge here.
The better team, buying the hook, looks like the play to me.
