MLB Picks: Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros ABC Progression
We featured the Athletics against the Astros at home last week and they won our progression. I expect more of the same here as the best team in the AL plays one of the worst. I’m going to try not to think too much about this series and just go with the progression. It seems too good to be true.
The line is a little sharp, the pitching match ups are probably the best Houston could hope for, the Astros are home, and the Athletics lineup seems to come and go, lacking depth or top-level talent. Still, The Athletics have the best pitching in baseball, momentum, and a lot to play for with the Angels breathing down on them.
With a lot on the line and a good matchup, we move forward with a system play. The computer offers full support, suggest five-stars of value and a 66% chance to win. I see those parameters as completely in line and lay a unit on the first game, following through with a chase progression if we lose.
