Interviewing Fran – One of the most respected sports investors in the Spanish speaking Zcode community
Fran is considered one of the most reputable experts in sports investment in the Spanish speaking Zcode community. His excellent reputation, due to his successful systems and great money management skills, has made him a role model.
1. Hello Fran! Please tell us more about yourself, Where are you from?
Hello, my name is Fran, I’m 32 years old and I was born in Malaga capital, although I currently live in a Toledo small town with my girlfriend. My hobby is to steal purses and rob banks hahaha, no joking, I make a living out of making and installing design furniture, though I am also a bodybuilding trainer and a sport nutritionist.
I love American sports and European soccer.
I’m a PHOENIX SUNS (NBA) fan, though for each sport I follow I have a favorite team, like COLUMBUS BLUE JACKET (NHL), BALTIMORE ORIOLES (MLB), BALTIMORE RAVENS (NFL), MALAGA C.F. (Spanish Soccer)
2. Tell us more about your history in this fascinating world of sports investments. How did you get started?
I started doing it to make the games I watched more exciting, because when betting is involved there’s more thrill and more fun when watching the matches live. As years went by I started to research to see if there were strategies or systems you use in your advantage, and one day I found the Zcode System on the internet, so I wanted to try it and here I am now, being a part of this family with a passion in common, sports, where you learn something new every day.
3. What parameters do you look into when making your choices?
Usually I look at the team’s track record in the season, whether there are important injuries, face-to-face results, odds movements…. After studying those parameters I use my system to see if the outcome is positive, nowadays I have included a new factor in the system that I’m using on MLB, which is to follow 5 or 6 teams and not all of them, that way you can do a more thorough analysis and you don’t get all tangled up in numbers and charts.
4. What are your favorite sports to make predictions?
I like making predictions on MLB, NBA and NHL, though I’ll keep trying my system in other sports such as European soccer and NFL, which are sports I regularly follow.
5. In your opinión, Do you prefer live bets or in-advance bets?
I’d rather go with planned in-advance bets because you can get good odds, but normally I do it because the predictions I make are on American sports and sometimes the schedule is not compatible to mine in order to follow it live and make live bets (the only downside I see with in-advance betting is that sometimes teams make last minute changes that can affect the final score).
6. Tell us more about the systems you have implemented since you came into Zcode and what you’ve learned from them
When I got into Zcode, the first thing I did was to watch the WEBINAR that you offer us and to do as it says; then I followed the predictions of big experts such as Ben Aussie, Mr. Score and KISS SYSTEM from Cyril, from which I learned how to keep and raise my Bankroll, how to follow different progression methods, and that not always the favorite team wins…. They inspired me to take the best in all of them and put it in a blender and shake it well, and that’s how my system “SYSTEM STEEL ML & SPREAD” was born, which I am trying to improve every day to maximize results.
7. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a sports investor?
I think my strengths are persistence, perseverance and my mindset, and I believe a weakness I had and I already got over was to bet on teams I like, out of emotions, and not from statistics or instinct, maybe my weakness became a strength then and one of the things that helped me build my system, where even if I see a team I like I still go with statistics though it means going against my heart, that’s why I try to avoid teams I like from entering my system.
8. What’s been your biggest lesson in the sports investment scene?
To manage your Bankroll correctly and to follow a system, to make bets where if you have a loss you can recover slowly and to not make bets beyond your possibilities or out of whim. It’s best to make a little money every day than to lose it all in a few days
9. I love this question, what makes a winner be a winner?
“Self-confidence about you being a winner”, if you don’t trust you are a winner you will never be one.
10. Any advice to all your fans and followers?
Enjoy Zcode, this is a great family, where everybody is there to help each other, because every day you learn something from each one of us. And I want you to know that I always bear this phrase on my mind “Slow and with a good hand-writing”, be patient and don’t expect to win a lot in a short time, and above all before you start betting or using a system, take some time and watch the WEBINAR and follow it to the letter.
