1. Hi Stuart, please tell us more about yourself?

Hi, well I’m 27, a born and bred Englishman, living in a little cottage in the countryside with my wife and two dogs. I have always been into sports, having played football (soccer) and tennis to a pretty decent standard, and as you may have spotted from some of my comments before I am massive Manchester City fan. That is where my sports betting started, for fun at first on what I knew best, and I soon learned to expand my understanding to more markets and more sports.

My interest in horse racing when I was younger, was pretty much limited to a paper bet on the Grand National each year, as most British people do. I can’t really remember where that changed but it became a serious interest for me about 6 years ago after spending some time at my father-in-law’s horse racing stable yard and I was just fascinated by how much there was to know about horses and the sport. I learned as much as I could from then on and developed my own systems with knowledge I have gained over the years.

Zcode has lifted things to a whole new level for me, both with my own system and sports investing as a way of life. I have always worked a 9 to 5 (or most of the time more like 9 to 9) job, and always felt there should be more to life. A few years ago I embarked on an expedition to raise money for charity, and I part walked, part cycled across the USA, from coast to coast. It was just over 4000 miles in total, taking 4 months, and really changed my view on life. It was such a freeing experience to live in such a simple way, surviving on what you could carry, camping wherever you stopped and your only goals being to get to the next place on the route. From that point on I was determined to work towards a freer, simpler life and to escape from some of the craziness of our busy world. I am still on that journey, but Zcode and the guys in the community have really helped to bring that closer to reality and inspire me on almost a daily basis to keep striving for that lifestyle, and I know one day soon I will realise that ambition.

2. Why you decided to focus more on horse races than any other sport?

Simply because horse racing fascinates me and is what I am passionate about! I just love the complexity and nuances of horse racing, with so many races and so many horses in each race, the combination of horse and jockey, the wealth of stats, form and the influence that bookies have over the markets, which move probably more than any other sport. All this makes it very difficult to profit on the horses but also makes it so interesting.

It was always going to be horse racing or soccer for me, and I do have a lot of involvement in soccer, working with Geoffrey on our SUP parlays, which have been very successful so far. As far as other sports go I only really got into American sports after joining Zcode, though I have followed NFL for years. I am actually on honorary Packers fan having swapped teams with a guy I met while travelling round Europe, and I like to think that he has become an honorary Man City fan back in the US. I have learnt a huge amount about lots of sports since becoming part of the Zcode community but I am more than happy following the great automated and expert systems that we have.

3. What do you think about betting favorite in horses? Is it a good strategy?

In general it is pretty dangerous. It can be a good strategy if you pick the right favourites and are selective, but to bet favourites blindly will fail in the long run because that is what public punters do, and exactly what the bookies want, and we all know in any sport that the bookies will always make their money!

4. How many information sources do you use to generate your Successful
Multiples Bets?

There is a lot of information out there in the horse racing world, a lot of it that is just rubbish, so it can be overwhelming if you don’t know what to trust. I use 3 or 4 information sources for statistics, comments and a range of other tipsters selections to filter my bets, as well the knowledge and understanding of horses, trainers and jockeys that I have built up myself.

One of the great things with my system from my point of view is that it actually does not take too long to work out the selections, I spend less than an hour each morning deciding on my picks and can then just leave it alone all day and enjoy the winnings later.

5. You main recommendation for newbies starting to bet in HORSES?

Start with the great systems we already have on Zcode and learn everything you can from the experts. Horse racing can be a massively complicated business, with so many races and so many horses within each race it can be hard to know what to bet on. I know that all the experts we have at Zcode have built up years of experience, so use that wealth of knowledge to learn as much as you can, we are always happy to help.

6. Do you think US horse racing are as profitable as UK/IR horse races? Why?

I’ve not had much experience in US horse racing, mainly because there is not the same level of statistics and information readily available as there is for UK racing, but there is absolutely no reason why the same kind of strategies will not work in the US if one could access enough information.

The one strategy I have used, which works great, is Gavin’s ATR US strategy that uses tips from elsewhere and applies a progression style money management system, yet another great idea from our Zcode horse racing group! One for all the guys in the US to check out, as I know it is hard to bet on the UK races from the US!

7. Who else are you following apart your selections out of all the
horses experts in Zcode?

I mainly follow John and his awesome system that is an absolute profit machine, and Gavin’s 1-4 picks, which can seem complicated to newbies but are massively profitable. Huang, Geoffrey and others are always coming up with great ideas and we are building a strong horse racing group now on Zcode which is fantastic!

We have also been starting horse racing PODs recently, hopefully one day we can have a Zcode horse racing competition!

8. Does it exist something called day dependence in Horse betting?
(Maybe one vegas day also?)

In some ways, yes, but it is not always as simple as the same one or two days a week. Saturday and Sunday attract a lot of public bettors and a lot of money in the bookies, as well having the biggest races most of the time as well. This means the bookies are a lot more careful and don’t want to lose money to all these bettors so there can be a lot of upsets. On the other hand, if the bookies did not do so well over the weekend then sometimes Monday can be a tough day as they look to recover. I know I make it sound like the bookies dictate who wins races but they can manipulate where the money goes to some extent with so many public bettors just taking favourites, so it can be tricky to spot real favourites from those that the bookies make favourites to lure bettors in.

9. If someone is new to horse racing and wants to follow your system,
what is the best thing to learn first, how to start?

My system is really simple so not much to learn to get involved. You need a Betfair account as this betting option is only available on there but just follow the instructions to place the bets each day and watch the results roll in. A couple of key things to remember with my system are that it is a slow and steady system so the gains each day might be small but they quickly add up, and it is really low risk so can be a good place for newcomers to horse racing.

10. Your tips to the fans and followers!

Enjoy what we do, this is a great community and we are making money doing what we love! Be patient, manage your money carefully and don’t get disheartened by a loss or two, the solid systems we have will win in the long run, I am confident that applies to my system too.
