The Kansas City Chiefs will meet the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV with the biggest trophy in American football on the line.
According to NFL insiders, Super Bowl LIV is the Kansas City Chiefs to lose. The Chiefs’ offense has been immense with Patrick Mahomes under center and expectations are high that they will pass over and through the 49ers’ defense.
However, San Francisco’s defense has been excellent this season and it will be a showdown in Super Bowl LIV that football fans and punters won’t want to miss.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs reached the Super Bowl by eliminating the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans along the way. In both games, the Chiefs got off to slow starts and had to come from behind to claim victory.
Mahomes led the Chiefs back against the Texans after falling behind by 21 points in the first quarter. It was an incredible comeback win.
According to NFL.com, the Chiefs had the league’s sixth-best yards per game on offense (379.2), fifth-best in passing yards per game (281), and fifth-best points per game (28.2) in the regular season.
Mahomes was outstanding in the regular season tossing over 4,000 yards and 26 touchdowns. He only threw five interceptions and missed games due to an injury.

San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers defense has been rock solid this season. Super Bowl LIV will be a game in which a top-ranked defense will be up against an elite offense.
San Francisco allowed the second-fewest yards per game (281.8) and eighth-fewest points per game (19.4).
Quarterback Jimmy Garappolo may not have had the numbers that Mahomes put up, but he was still brilliant throughout the regular season. Garappolo threw for 3,978 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
Who will win Super Bowl LIV?
The Chiefs and 49ers met in the NFL’s preseason in August with the latter picking up a 27-17 win. Throw that result out, however, as preseason won’t have an impact on the result of the big game.
The two teams did meet in the 2018 NFL regular season with the Chiefs claiming a 38-27 win. Again, the game’s result shouldn’t have much of an impact on Super Bowl LIV as these teams have evolved.
Of course, both teams go into the game burning red hot. The Chiefs have won their last six games while San Francisco went 5-1.
Kansas City went 3-1 against NFC teams during the regular season. The 49ers had an identical record versus AFC teams. So, who wins Super Bowl LIV?
