First playoffs round in the contest is behind us. There was one bloody exciting rivalry, a lot of tactical plays and tons of luck for few contenders with high rank in the main contest.
Most exciting battle fought Derek and Jimmy. Both hit big plays with odds around 2.00 and in the end Derek was beaten by $12 only with score $306 vs $294. Great play by both of you guys. Congratulations! Derek can threat it really as a big upset because he would be a winner in most of other pairs, but this is playoffs and part of this game.
Fantastic and very convincing victories were reached by Peter and Duane who just crushed their opponents by $600 difference. Both top players in this round will face against top players in the main contest and prizes winners so I expect huge battles there and I am sure results are not obvious at all.
Cold blood and excellent tactical skills showed in this round Jaka, Jonquiel, Geoffrey, Billygoat and Jemia. They prepared very well calculated plays and easily beat their opponents providing solid and very important wins. Fantastic plays guys. This is also what playoffs are about. Congratulations.
Tons of luck in round 1 got Cliff, Damon, Money-Maker and a few others who proceeded to the next round because of higher rank than opponent in the main contest or by providing at least one winning pick in this round.
