As we’ve seen, using the ZCode tools is a great way to maximize profits and set tighter filters for stronger plays. Today I want to incorporate a few tools for one game and try to single out one solid play.
The game we’ll be looking at is the Los Angeles Angels vs Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday 6/26. The first tool I want to use is the Line Value:
As you can see, the total over 9 has a 4 star ZCode value which is a relatively strong play. Now I want to get a better look at how both teams have been scoring so the next tool we’ll take a look at is the Totals Predictor:
Both teams have been hot offensively lately and even the games that stayed under the total were because their opponents didn’t score much. This looks like a good over signal as well. The next step is to check the Line Reversals Tool and look at the totals:
Here we see that, although the total opened at 8.5 and moved to 9, sharp money has taken the under at 9 runs. This is the first sign of anything leaning under so I want to look at the Line Reversals Tool again but this time at the Money Line movement:
Now we can see a sharp line move in favor of the Dodgers on the money line. This helps paint a picture of the entire game for us. We are getting relatively strong over signals from two tools while seeing the early money has gone on the Dodgers ML and the under.
With the Dodgers ML currently trading at -220, this looks like a good opportunity for a team total play on the Dodgers over 5 runs. While it will be very important to monitor the line moves throughout the day, the Dodgers team total over 5 @ -110 shows solid value.
