The Nashville Predators have one of the best goalies in hockey. I think on the road, through fatigue, Pekka Rinne will be able to anchor this team and provide enough support for them to squeak out a victory. The offense is actually more than serviceable this time around, which is a first in my time following this franchise. I expect them to be able to break through the brick wall that Martin Jones has put up for the San Jose Sharks before Rinne breaks.

I also like the fact that there is an extra day off before this game. While the San Jose Sharks are old and home, I expect that will help the Predators recover from the battle they faced in the first round and all of the overtimes of this series. Both teams should play well, but the Nashville Predators needed a little bit of time to bounce back a little bit more than the San Jose Sharks did.

The computer is divided here. There are three stars of value on each team and Z-Code anticipates a low-scoring, tight game. I’m not quite sure what to expect as the pace has been pretty fast for all of these games. Clutch scoring and even tense overtimes with no scoring dictates the matchup so far. With everything on the line, who knows how these teams will play? All I know is I like the value on the road dog here as the better team, and I think they’ll find something extra here for their second Game Seven win. Perhaps the +1.5 has the most value in a situation like this.
