This time we have a classic “old-school” style individual contest with bombs and nukes feature on board. We’ll play in individual formula, but keep 3 separate leaderboards*:

King of World Cup 2018– based on the traditional bankroll builder approach. Every contender receives a $10000 virtual bankroll. 1 unit = $100. The players who build the biggest bankroll after 5 rounds will win. The three top places win cash prizes! Check the prize list below!

Bomber of World Cup 2018 – based only on profits made with picks marked as bombs and nukes. The player who makes the highest profit using 2- and 3-unit picks only will take the prize. See below (Bombs and Nuke) to find out how to use these new picks.

Stubborn of World Cup – classic! Longest winning streak competition!

*NOTE: Each player can win a maximum of one prize. If the same person ranks in both leaderboards, they’ll receive the larger prize. The next-ranking player on the scoreboard with the smaller prize will receive the prize. This ensures that as many people as possible get to win!

Bombs and nuke

This is a refreshed feature. Every player has 3 bombs and 1 nuke to use in the whole contest. Using these “weapons” is not mandatory. What does it mean? It’s simple! Picks marked as bombs are counted as 2-unit bets. Picks marked as nukes are counted as 3-unit bets. Be careful! That’s dangerous material, very explosive. 😉 To use it, simply mark your pick as for example:

Poland +0.5 @ 2.00 (pinnacle) NUKE

Know the rules!

There will be 5 rounds played in the contest. After each round POD Master will provide recap with current rank.

Each player can submit up to 3 picks per round.

Only single bets, parlays are not allowed.

Each submitted selection is by default 1 unit play, unless player marked it as bomb or nuke.

In case of a push, player gets his invested units back and he can reuse them with another pick in current round as long as a player has any of 3 units remains.

Editing your post is not permitted. If you forgot to list odds or the bookie, just make a new post with the additional info. You must update your pick before the game start otherwise it will be considered as a PASS!

Post European format odds ONLY! It makes counting easier and faster and helps to avoid mistakes. American format odds are no longer accepted. Odds converter is here http://zcodesystem.com/oddsconverter/. Picks without European odds format will be considered as a PASS.

The results will be counted by POD Master Michal. All unforeseen situations are decided by the POD Master. He is an unbiased supervisor and judge.

The POD Master is a player also but doesn’t participate in prizes to ensure the unbiased judgment. POD Master plays only for fun.
